Hello, I'm Jhon Chacón, most people know me as Chaki.
Creative Director & Head of Art with a passion for storytelling, craft and AI. With more than 15 years of experience, I have been based in Colombia, Argentina, and Ecuador, leading creative work for regional and multi-market brands across Latin America, Central America, and the U.S., including Reckitt, KFC, Aruba Tourism Authority, Diageo, Nestlé, Diners Club, Wingo, Kia, Mabe and many others. I collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create ideas that evoke emotion and drive business results.
My experience includes working at multinational agencies such as Havas Village, MullenLowe Delta, Asylum Marketing, Ogilvy Worldwide, Craverolanis and Y&R, as well as co-founding my own independent advertising agency, Maestranza. My work has been recognized at leading national and international festivals, including El Sol, New York Festivals, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, El Dorado, Antigua Festival, FIAP, Wave festival, Effie Colombia and Effie Latam. It has also been featured in renowned industry publications such as Lürzer's Archive (200 Best Digital Artists Worldwide), Little Black Book, Ad Age, Adlatina and The Best of Ogilvy Worldwide Network Selection.
Beyond agency work, I have served as a jury member for El Ojo de Iberoamérica and as a professor at Brother Bogotá, helping shape the next generation of creative talent. Today, I'm focused on the intersection of creativity, technology, AI and business transformation.
And I continue to ask myself the same question: What's next?
